Our gelatine-based absorbable haemostatic agents, marketed globally under the SURGIFLO™, SPONGOSTAN™, and SURGIFOAM® trademarks through our long-standing collaboration with Johnson & Johnson, support bleeding control in critical surgical procedures. -

We also designs, develops, and manufactures innovative, high-precision components and assemblies for leading global medical device companies. With over 35 years of experience in miniature electromechanics, we specialize in:-
Biopsy devices – including the world’s first handheld, titheless, single-insertion device capable of collecting multiple samples during breast biopsy, helping physicians diagnose breast cancer more efficiently.

We are a tier-one supplier to key partners, managing large parts—or the entirety—of their value chains, from design and industrialization to manufacturing and delivery. Our production is ISO 13485 certified and performed in controlled areas and cleanrooms in Szczecin, Poland.

How We Work
As an integrated innovation and manufacturing company, we combine clinical insight, research and development, quality management, and manufacturing excellence. Our capabilities span the entire value chain—from concept to commercial production. We are headquartered in Soeborg, Denmark, where our production, R&D, engineering, quality, and corporate functions are located. We also operate a manufacturing site in Szczecin, Poland. Together, we are about 540 dedicated employees—350 in Søborg and 150 in Szczecin—working to deliver reliable, high-performing medical devices to healthcare professionals worldwide.
Our Ownership and Partnerships
Since 2022, Kirk Kapital, ATP, and the Lundbeck Foundation have been our owners, holding 40%, 30%, and 30% respectively.
We collaborate closely with Johnson & Johnson, which manages the global sales and distribution of our haemostatic devices in more than 100 countries.
