Human rights
Ferrosan Medical Devices and our partners must comply with all applicable laws and respect international human rights wherever we operate.
Scope
The respect and recognition of human rights expressed in this policy cover all Ferrosan Medical Devices employees and all people who take part in the manufacturing and support of Ferrosan Medical Devices products and services.
This policy covers Ferrosan Medical Devices and associated companies, affiliates of Ferrosan Medical Devices or any entity that is directly or indirectly controlled by Ferrosan Medical Devices no matter the geographical location.
Position
Ferrosan Medical Devices considers respect of human rights a fundamental part of running any company in a responsible way. Ferrosan Medical Devices respects human rights in our own manufacturing and administration of our products and across the entire value chain of all Ferrosan Medical Devices products and services.
Ferrosan Medical Devices is committed to avoiding any involvement in human rights abuses. Ferrosan Medical Devices’ stand on Human Rights is reflected in all new and re-evaluated agreements with our suppliers as of August 2021.
Ferrosan Medical Devices looks to the definitions of human rights as employed in The Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, which are derived from The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labor Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. Consequently, Ferrosan Medical Devices’ commitment to respecting human rights naturally align with the two human rights principles of the UN Global Compact Ten Principles:
Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and
Principle 2: Make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.
