Breast biopsy device (SIMS)

Together with our partner and clinicians we developed and launched the world’s first handheld tetherless single insertion multiple samples (SIMS) breast biopsy device in 2009. The device was vacuum assisted and delivered samples up to three times larger than standard core needles. In 2019 the development was completed, and the next generation advanced breast biopsy device launched together with our global partner. The ergonomic, handheld vacuum-assisted device is engineered to support clinicians provide patients with the best possible care: • Single Insertion Multiple Sample Technology • Probes available in 10G, 12G, and 14G • Average 9-second sampling time • Diagnostic Quality Samples
